2017 Annual Report
Statement from the CEO
After 120 years of service to the most vulnerable children and youth in our community, Rebekah
Children’s Services was named as the 2017 “Non-Profit of the Year: Santa Clara South County.” A
first in our storied history of delivering specialized mental health services, RCS has been objectively
recognized by our community of peers and professionals for meeting the standard of care and
excellence set forth by our governing accreditation body as a Mental Health Organization.
Founded in 1897 by the Rebekah Assembly and Independent Order of Odd-Fellows, Rebekah
Children’s Services endeavors to actualize our call to serve the “orphan and the widow” in every
community while upholding the philanthropic roots of “Friendship, Love, and Truth”.
As a workforce, we are cognizant that those we provide care for must subjectively experience
service that is of the highest quality, which translates directly into marked improvements in their
social, emotional, and educational well-being. Our staff intimately understand the vital role they play
in making our mission statement breathe and come alive for our children, youth and families.
Without their unwavering dedication of being fully “committed to seeing our community flourish by
building pathways to hope, happiness and well-being”, Rebekah Children’s Services would not have
achieved nor sustained our standing in the community with those we are honored and privileged to
serve.
We gratefully acknowledge our community of donors and partners who continue to selflessly
create financial capital to ensure that all programs at Rebekah Children’s Services remain vibrant
and impactful. With your unwavering support, we remain inspired and confident in our ability to
serve.
Sincerely,
Christophe E. Rebboah, LMFT
