Ashton & Backwell United FC squad

Lewis Coombes, Goalkeeper – A product of
the Ashton FC Youth System, re-signed in
2014 previously leaving for Bishop Sutton the
year they won the Toolstation Premier
Division. Great shot stopper, fines master &
       club event organiser!

Joe Bishop, Defender – Bish is now into his
8th season at the Stags’, he reads the game
well and has established himself as the rock
in the defence over the last couple of seasons. Product of the Ashton
       FC Youth System.

Jordan Bishop, Defender – Broke into the squad from the reserves
last season, done brilliantly when called upon and now a 1 team
                                                                       st
regular. Brother of fellow defender Joe, but certainly doesn’t live in
his shadow on and off the pitch!

Billy Devoy, Defender – Very skilful player who can play as either
full back or out wide in midfield. You’d back him defending 1-on-1
against any attacker at this level. Also played for Ashton FC at youth
       level.

Tom Press, Defender – Another Ashton FC Youth represented in
the 1st Team. Signed from Broad Plain House in the Somerset
County League in 2018, loves of tackle and very good in the air,
formed a great partnership with the rest of the defence.

Regan Sollars, Defender – Signed from Brislington in 2016, second
year with the 1 team after break through the reserves after being
                       st
a key player their promotion 2 seasons ago. Product of Bristol
Rovers Academy before joining Rovers he was part of the Ashton FC
       Youth setup.

Charlie Saunders, Defender – Signed from Bath City in 2018.
Modern day defender, quick and very good on the ball. Char is very
versatile being able to play at the back or in midfield.
