Welcome

Good afternoon and welcome to The Field.

We extend a special warm welcome to the players, management and
supporters of Odd Down (Bath) FC, for this Toolstation Western
League First Division fixture. We hope they enjoy their short stay
with us and have a safe journey home tonight. We also offer our
thanks to our Match Officials for today and hope they enjoy the
game.

The reality of our situation was marked out for all to see during the
last few weeks. After two fine wins against Gillingham Town and
Sherborne Town, after a defeat at Cheddar last week we
disappointingly find ourselves back in the bottom two places and with
much work still to do.

The win at Sherborne was particularly pleasing to see as they are a
very good side. Ashley Knight came up trumps with a hat trick in a 4-
3 victory which was fully deserved. More of that type of performance
is going to be needed for the rest of the season.

Today we meet Odd Down who were playing Premier Division
football last season and have dropped down to Division One for
financial reasons. They have had a reasonable season so far will be
looking to improve their standing today.

We hope you will enjoy the game and look forward to seeing you all
