“We welcome Quedgeley Wanderers to Pen Park this weekend. Quedgeley
have not had the season they would be hoping for up to this point.
They currently sit third from bottom in the league on fifteen points having only
won four games in the league this season. They have not had much luck on
the road and will be conscious that three points this weekend will be vital in
helping them move away from the relegation zone and will be up for it
especially after getting knocked out of the cup last weekend.
We go into this weekend looking to extend our unbeaten run even further and
keep pressure on the top teams in league. We still have to play some of them
so we will hope to keep the run going and see where that puts us at the end of
the season.
I would just like to say a very big thank you to everyone that’s helped us on a
match-day this season as well as all the fans who turn up to watch us. The
team, management and committee appreciate everything that the community
does for the club, and we wouldn’t be where we are without all of that fantastic
support.
We look forward to welcoming everyone back at the Filton Feast after the
game for some amazing food and a few beers whatever the result.”
