Well we proved on Saturday we can match anyone in this league when we
beat Bi on 3-2 and we s ll have 5/6 key players to come back from injury.
It was nice to Neikell Plummer back in a Bris shirt even if it was only to help
out for a couple of games.
The performance of some players on Saturday was superb. Captain Sco
Lewis was outstanding with his never say die a tude at Centre half. But
White, Barwood & Saunders done their bit as well.
Kain Edmondson & Josh Brace have the pace & ability to cause any defence
problems. Kain has been great in the last 2 games with his running &
chasing down lost causes.
In midfield George Jones took both his goals well and Jordan Scadding is
now finding his feet at this level. With Simon Prangley pu ng in consistent
performances week in week out.
We have two good keepers in young Callum Heal & the evergreen Jason
Ma hews.
And bare in mind we s ll have Bath, Dunn, McCormack, Tobin, Fear,
Nuevo- Draper & Greenslade to come back in.
But Saturdays result will count for nothing if we cannot get a win over
Street tonight. We beat them 3-1 on the opening day with a good
performance but they have picked up over the last few weeks so expect a
tough game this evening.
Well done to Pearty & his reserve team who were 7-2 winners against
Hanham Abbots on Saturday. Pearty rolled back the years by grabbing
himself a hat trick.
It was also nice to see Jeff Meacham stood in his old spot at the bar. He also
completed 90mins on Saturday as well not bad for 59 year old. At least the
bar takings will go up !!!
