                        Brislington 4 Ashton & Backwell 0 ATT 232

                          Scorers - Scadding 25, 29, 93 Jones 55
We welcomed Ashton & Backwell for our first fes ve game at Ironmould Lane in a
       few years.
The pitch passed an inspec on at 11am but was going to be heavy going for both
       sides.
Barwood, Dunn & White we’re missing but recent signing Chaz Hemmings started
       up front.
The game was very scrappy to begin with on the heavy pitch with neither side able
to get a foothold in the game.
The visitors had the first chance a er about 15mins with a free kick which went
       wide.
On 18mins a cross from the right was spectacularly volleyed by George Jones but
the effort came back on the bar and probably deserved to find the back of the net.
On 25mins we got the breakthrough when the keepers clearance found Jones who
put in Jordan Scadding who finished well in the bo om corner to make it 1-0.
On 29mins it was 2-0 a Conner Bryant cross was flicked on by Hemmings and found
Jordan Scadding at the back post who put the chance away for his 2nd of the game.
Hemmings height up top was causing problems for the visitors but we didn’t
gamble enough from his flick ons.
On 44mins Scadding had the chance to complete a first half hat trick when he broke
into the box but his shot came off the keepers legs.

       HT 2-0
The 2nd half started much as the first did taking us a bit of me to get back into the
       game.
On 56mins we increased are lead. Another ball into the box was flicked on by
Hemmings. Robbie Tanner picked the ball up and put it low & hard into the 6 yards
box and found Jones who finished from close range. 3-0.
On 62 mins Hemmings had a chance to score but his effort was pped over by the
       keeper.

We working hard across the pitch on a surface that was ge ng worse as the game
went on. The back four were dealing well with anything the visitors tried and
Dorrington was not really tested throughout the game.
In the 93rd min Scadding got his hat trick with the last kick of the game. He picked
ball up and broke into the box and put the ball in the bo om corner to make it 4-0.
A hard working performance on a difficult pitch and one we deserved. We scored
at the right mes and never looked like we would give up our lead.
