View from the dugout
It’s been a few weeks since the win against Ashton & Backwell which was a
sa sfying performance on a energy sapping pitch. Jordan Scadding was the
star on the day with a hat trick against his former club.
We were unlucky to that a er that game to have 5 members of the squad
test posi ve for Covid meaning our local derby against Keynsham was
postponed & will now be played on Easter Monday.
We followed this up with the long trip to Mousehole we gave a good
performance against probably is the best side we’ve played this season but
lost 2-0 with late goals in both halves.
We face bo om of the table Bridport today and know we cannot be
complacent and put in the performances we have put in to our last 2
games.
We then face a tough game at home to Helston next week before making
2 longs trips down to Devon & Cornwall to face Tavistock & Millbrook.
We have a new signing in the squad as Archie Thayer has joined us on loan
from Frome Town for a month.
Some good news Kain Edmondson has had his opera on to repair his
ruptured ACL. We wish Kain a speedy recovery and hope he will be back in
a Bris shirt in the future.
