“We welcome Totterdown United to Pen Park this weekend. Both clubs were
promoted into the Gloucester County League after winning their respective
leagues last season, with the two teams meeting in the playoffs. Totterdown
coming away victorious on that occasion after a close hard fought game.
Totterdown currently sit ninth in the league on twenty-six points having had an
up and down season. Totterdown have not had the greatest form away from
home this season having lost six and drawing two of their 10 away games so
far. They will be wanting to improve om that against us on the weekend and
get some revenge after we claimed the spoils at their place earlier on this
season.
We are on a good run in the league that sees us unbeaten since October. Last
weekend we beat Ruardean Hill Rangers who were the last side to beat us in
the league and we are hoping to continue that winning run this weekend.
I would just like to say a very big thank you to Ruardean for a great game last
weekend, they were brilliant hosts and had a great laugh. We had a great
disco celebrating our win and look forward to another hard-fought game the
next time the two teams play.
We look forward to welcoming everyone back at the Filton Feast after the
game for some amazing food and a few beers whatever the result Saturday.”
