Or maybe not!!
Less than a minute later a specula ve cross from cheddars le was allowed to bounce between

The Brislington goal had finally been breached, (albeit by one of its own), a er 600 minutes of play.
2-1. Brislington
Doddimead unable to beat Webster
On 72 mins great work down the right by McLennan saw a great cross pulled across the face of goal
for Doddimead who never fully connected and his shot from six yards was saved by the keepers foot.
Further chances came and went for the hosts most notably for Me ers who found himself with just
the keeper to beat but failed to pull the trigger allowing the cheesemen to clear.
Whilst the score was s ll so close Brislington had to endure some tense scrappy minutes to close out
the game, but did so nonetheless. Although the performance was not as convincing as the previous
ou ngs and the finishing had le a lot to be desired, great credit has to go to the visitors who showed
real spirit and discipline throughout, the grit determina on and work rate was also there in
abundance from the Foxes . The game ended with a hard fought 3 points to the home side, keeping
them 2nd place in the table and taking the winning run to 14.
