A warm welcome to all attending the

We would like to offer a special
welcome to the players, management
and supporters of Cheltenham Civil
Service FC for this opening MARCLIFF
Gloucestershire County League
fixture. We hope they enjoy their
short stay and have a safe trip home.
Almondsbury FC would like to offer its condolences to all at Cheltenham
Civil Service of the sad passing of Jill Williams, their Secretary for many
years. We will be holding a minutes silence prior to kick off.

For Almondsbury FC this is a start of a new chapter in our history. We
enter a new league with our new management team headed up my our
new 1st Team Manager Ryan Meacham. Off the field we are now
operating under a new committee, following Mike Blessing stepping
down as Chair at the end of last season. We would like to take the
opportunity to thank Mike for all he did at his time at Almondsbury and
hope to see him cheering the Almonds on this season and beyond.

For what seems like a pre-season that went in a blink of an eye, huge
work has been undertaken in and around the club since last season
finished. Many thanks to all that have given up their time to get us
ready for this season opener, in particular Dave Rossiter who has spent
his summer prepping the pitch and maintaining and improving our
facilities. We would also like to offer our gratitude to Miek Filer, of MCF
for once again being our main sponsor.

Lets know focus on the game and season ahead.
