View from the dugout

We have seen highs & lows during the 1st week of the season with 2 good
wins & the disappointment of the loss at home to Nailsea.

Nailsea are obviously on a high at the moment with winning promo on and
       their long undefeated run.

They obviously had a game plan against us which looked like soaking up the
pressure we put on them & hi ng us on the counter a ack. I’m sure if we
could have got the 1st goal then we would have seen a different game.
We just could not break them down and realise that teams will probably do
that to us this season. We have to learn to be pa ent as we know we have
the players to win games of football.

Saturdays game was much the same as the first two we put pressure on
Hallen from the start but could not find that 1st goal despite numerous
chances. At mes we looked scrappy and we’re struggling to find a way
       through their defence.

It took going 1-0 down for us to Regain our composure. 2 inspired
subs tu ons changed the game with both Jordan Scadding & Josh Egan
scoring to give us the win.

Tonight we face local rivals Bristol Telephones who will no doubt be right up
for the game and we know we again face a tough challenge to get all 3
       points.

We then face Bishop Su on on Saturday who will have some familiar faces
in their side and will be definitely looking to get a win against us.
