Avonmouth A. 3 - Phoenix next Gen 2

Another win last week for Avonmouth A makes it 7 wins on the bounce for the A
team. Putting them Top of the league.

They need to enjoy being top as there 6 games in hand will see them drop down

the league over the next few weeks. Another good win last week though beating a
Strong Phoenix team.

Lewis Carr put the A’s 1 up with powerful strike from close range. The A’s struggle

to keep a clean sheet most weeks and went into half time 1-1. Top goalscorer
Cameron Cafferkey scored again with a scrappy goal. The A’s dropped off again and
were very poor this week all round the pitch allowing Phoenix back in the game and

they did scoring a good goal to make it 2-2.

Liam Poole grabbed another goal this week scoring from the edge of the Area this

time to secure the points for the team.ner with a sublime free kick from Ashley
West to give the ‘A’ team the three points.
