Avonmouth Under 18 were in cup action on the weekend against

local rivals Cribbs Youth.

Both teams started well with an end-to-end game. At the half time

point the teams were 0-0.

The second half the 18’s started to be more direct and on the 50 th

minute Lewis Cov erdale was put through and he stayed composed

in front of goal, passing the ball into the bottom corner of the net.

Cribbs were by far the better side after the goal and tested the 18’s

keeper Blake Taylor a number of times with him pulling off several

great saves.

The lads held out for the win and move into the quarter finals of the

cup in a week’s time.
