Res Team
So Seymour Utd away 30 Sept , result 1 - 1 after 90 mins. A great goal from Lewis
Coverdale looked to have given the res a and well deserved win but an equalising goal
scored about 8 mins from time denied them and the game went to penalties.
The penalties they went in 1 after the other until eventually their keeper save ours and
Seymour progressed 9-8.
Next week back to the league action and try to secure 3 points,
Man of the Match Robbie Allen
Overall better performance but we need to start shutting the shop up when we are winning
and not cave in, well done lads.
Home to Old Cots Sept 23rd
The game saw Mark (oops upside your head !!!) Warren step in for the game producing a
couple of saves, finally letting in 2 goals from a very good Old Cots res team.
This is the second time we have played them in four weeks, they are a hard team to play
against, but we realised from the last game that they struggle in the latter stages of the
game.
We opened the scoring again with Rhys O. Donovan after 30 mins but after the break some
dubious refereeing decisions we went 2-1 down after 70 mins,
We kept going as a team and continued to push for an equaliser whish saw Cody Winkler hit
the bar from 8 yards, but the equaliser came with 12 mins to go.
We ended the game strongly and could have snatched a winner 2 mins from time, some
good individual performances again today, well done boys.

The under 18’s picked up their first win of the season in their second game of the season
Beating Bristol Pirates 5-2.
Goals from James Ellis - JJ Moore and Jack summers put them 3-1 up at half time.
Pirates came out fighting in the second half playing some nice football and scoring from a
corner on 60 mins.
The 18’s dug in and managed the game better towards the end of the second half and got
the vital goals to win us the game. JJ Moore with his second and Zaid Samadi scoring on his
debut.
The 18’s look to build on their result on Sunday when they travel to top of the table Cribbs.
