Welcome

Good afternoon and welcome to The Field.

We extend a special warm welcome to the players, management and
supporters of Cheltenham Saracens FC, for this Buildbase FA Vase
First Round Qualifying fixture. We hope they enjoy their short stay
with us and have a safe journey home tonight. We also offer our
thanks to our Match Officials for today and hope they enjoy the
game.

Hooray!! At last some goals! And as a result? Three points!

Ashley Knight 2 and Andy Williams accounted for the all-important
strikes as we ran out 3-1 winners against fellow strugglers Devizes
Town and we have now leap-frogged them at the wrong end of the
league table. We now have to use this as a springboard for the
remainder of the season and get ourselves out of this trouble.

Today we meet Cheltenham Saracens who have made a reasonable
start to their own campaign in the Uhlsport Hellenic League and will
be looking to maintain that today. A break from the league
programme may be just what we need and a passage into the next
round is at stake.

We hope you will enjoy the game and look forward to seeing you all
