Avonmouth Res v Cadbury Heath Res
The Res played away gaining a well-deserved 2 1 victory on a very
hot day at Somerdale. They played absolutely amazing
considering the heat and rewarded with a goal after 30 mins by Rhys
Donovan so that's both strikers off the mark this season , the second

came after a sensational 30 yard strike by Robbie O’ Flaherty,

Avonmouth allowed Cadbury heath in for a consolation goal 4 mins
from time , but today it was very pleasing to watch a very young side
playing good football, we carried on from where we had left off last
week , 100% effort from all the lads, they have now set the
benchmark for the season ahead
MOM Riley Gregory and Donkey was Reece Bartlett looking forward
to next week's game

Avonmouth A v Wessex Wanderers Colts
The A’s looked to find their first win of the season on Saturday playing
Wessex wanderers colts.
We started the game well and looked in control but we ended up
being 1-0 down against the run of play after some shocking
defending. We fought back and Darren Keeling made the score 1-1
at half time by rounding the keeper and sticking the ball in the empty
net.
Second half was poor and the A’s lost the game 3-1 where we ran out
of stamina in the heat on the 3 G
We play AJA athletic next week away and look to get 3 points on the
board.
