Manager’s View

Afternoon everyone

Today we welcome the management, players, officials
and supporters of Cribbs reserves to Norman Scott
Park for the second of 3 consecutive home fixtures in
the Marcliff Gloucestershire County League.

Last week, the lads put in another fantastic
performance to come out with all 3 points against
Wick. The performances have been top class over the past 3-4 games and to finally
get the win on the board was extremely satisfying as we have felt that we haven’t
got what we have deserved from our previous matches recently.

Whilst we are under no illusion that the hard work is still ahead of us, the platform
that we have built over the past few weeks in terms of performance, attitudes and
togetherness gives us every indication that we have a group of lads in the squad
who want to give their all for this club.

Todays fixture will be a very good benchmark to see how far we have come recently.
Cribbs are deservedly flying high at the top of the league table so whilst most will
see this fixture as a free hit for us, we are excited to get back out on to the pitch
and hopefully continue the form shown in recent matches.
Damo and I both believe in this squad and whilst we aren’t getting complacent after
a couple of very good results, we are certainly in a more positive frame of mind as
we look to finish our last 9 matches with full confidence.

Good luck to the reserves today, who are looking to get their title credentials back
on track against Bristol Barcelona, before our match goes ahead. No fixture for the
A’s today which is a shame after they picked up a very good point away at De Veys,
last Saturday.

On behalf of the management and players at the club, I would like to thank you all
as always for your continued support, especially to the volunteers behind the scenes
who do so much for this football club that we all take for granted! I can assure each
and everyone of you that it is very much appreciated by us all.
We hope that you enjoy todays match and we look forward to seeing you all in the
bar afterwards.
