A er our FA Vase exit to Ashton & Backwell we then suffer to heavy defeats to Bridgwater
& Exmouth.
A lot of things contributed to these defeats player availability. Always hard when you first
choice back four is not available. Picking up injuries during the game with players having
to play out of posi on.
All these things made Perksy & the management team consider their posi ons but a er a
lot of soul searching, pleas from the Vice Chairman & players all decided to s ck it out.
Perksy moved quickly to sign Ash Kington from Bi on & Leon Clayton - Clarke from
Backwell.
On the subject of injuries we would like to wish Kieron Procter & Kane Edmondson speedy
recoveries from what look like season ending injuries.
The new signings & virtually a full squad to pick from meant we went to Shepton Mallet
last week with renewed confidence. A hard working performance from the team meant
we came away with a 4-3 victory.
Today we welcome Buckland Athle c to Ironmould Lane and always seem to have ght
tough games against them. If we perform to our poten al we know we can come away
with 3 points.

Fundraising Events

As you may be aware over the last few weeks two of our players Kieron
Proctor & Kain Edmondson have received probably what are season ending
injuries.
Kain looks like he has a serious knee injury which he picked up vs
Bridgwater and is wai ng on a MRI scan to find out what he has done.

Kieron dislocated his ankle & broke both his fibula & Tibia against Exmouth
last weekend and had an opera on on Thursday to correct the injuries he
received.
We are holding a fundraising night on Saturday 13th November at the club
following our game against Bridgwater to help raise some money for the
two players. Mark Fear has taken charge of this and organised a race night
at well as a raffle and auc on on the night.
Some of our sponsors Bristol Beds, AngieH Driving Academy & Easy Runner
have donated some prizes for the evening.
If you would like to show your support on the evening you will more than
welcome to join us at the club, the 1st race will be at 7pm.
