A few words from the manager...
ALMONDSBURY 0 - 0 FILTON ATHLETIC (29th March 2025)
“A solid enough performance Saturday in a scrappy game due to the
pitch being like concrete with a strong cross wind.
We created more and better clear cut chances which we need to be a lot
more clinical with and take these opportunities against quality opposition
such as Almondsbury. We felt robbed of a clear stone wall penalty, if
anyone has had the chance to watch it on the socials they will
understand! But such is life.
We are into the final month of what has been a successful season and we
now set our sights on top 4. If we can achieve that it would be a fantastic
achievement and just reward for all at the club that has worked so hard to
get us here today.
Our focus now turns to Chalford, a well organised outfit who beat us
comfortably in last seasons playoff. They seem to have found some good
form recently so this should be one to watch.”
