Res away to Old Cothamians

We played a bit tentative first 20 mins but soon played our way back
in to the game Corey Clarke scored his first goal of the campaign (
assisted by some excellent work by Rhys Odonovan ) keeper Tom
Heague pulled off a couple 1 on 1s and the team mainly u18s held
their own, We could have won it in the last 10 mins with efforts from
Robbie O’Flaherty , Maddix Payne and Cody winker and James Ellis
but were denied by their keeper , and some wayward shooting
missing the target by millimetres. Over all 1 - 1 very happy with a
point and the performance was excellent with only minor issues to
iron out going forward, MOM Ben Walters tireless work in midfield,
good support from the crowd, next game Cadbury heath away.

A team away to Southmead Res

We had a goal filled first game of the season with Southmead
reserves running out 8-5 winners.

The A’s were 5-0 down at half time. The second half was much better
with goals from Cameron Ward x 3 - Jack Summers and Sonlam.in a
spirited fightback

Being 5-0 down at the half was too much for the A’s to bring back and
get any points on the board and they we were up against a strong
player that scored the majority of their goals

They play Wessex wanderers colts this Saturday (9th) at home and
look to build on the second half performance.
