BRIEF INTRO
Sadaf Fatima received her education from NED University of Engineering and Technology in Karachi and did

Bachelors of Engineering (Civil) in 1999. She began her career as Highway Engineer in Engineering Associates,

Karachi. After working there for a year, realizing that her aptitude lies in Structures, she joined mushtaq and bi-

lal Consulting Engineers in October 2000. mushtaq and bilal consulting engineers is a leading consulting firm

with impressive track record. She worked there with Principal of firm, Mr. Mushtaq Dawood and her career kept

growing as a Structural Engineer under his skillful guidance. At mushtaq and bilal, she was involved in de-

sign of High rise buildings, seismic resistant indigenous structures in northern areas, rehabilitation and resto-

ration works, research studies etc. Major Projects done as Project Engineer in mushtaq and bilal include; EOBI ho-

tel and Mix Development having 5 Bsmt+ Ground + 10 stories (Lahore), Crescent Bay-plot 4, 25 and 30 storied

tower (Karachi), MCB IT Centre 3 bsmt+grd+ 8 stories(Lahore), Ocean Tower , 27 storied tower(Construction

phase supervision) (Karachi), Rufi Twin tower, dubai sports city, Grd + 18 stories, Self Help schools

(Chitral,Pakistan), Comparison study for Amreli Steels Pvt. Ltd. After having field experience of 10 years, she

started her Masters of Engineering (Structures) from NED University and did her Master’s dissertation under

the supervision of her mentor, Professor Dr. Sahibzada Farooq A. Rafeeqi.

In September 2011, after working in the firm for 11 years, she left mushtaq and bilal, and started her own con-

sulting firm. Till now, she has variety of projects at her credit which includes, multi-storied buildings, various

kinds of steel structures, residences etc. She is a member of Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC), Association of

Consulting Engineers Pakistan (ACEP), and American Concrete Institute, Pakistan Chapter(ACI). She has Pro-

fessional Structural Engineer licenses of Sindh Building & Control Authority (SBCA) and Cantonment Board
