It seemed relevant to our recent discussion after our meditation. As
well as having many happy times, we have been through some

dark times when it is difficult to know what to say but there is
comfort in being with someone you trust who loves you.

We are going through uncertain times internationally, in the church
and, for some people, personally, but how comforting it is to turn to
a trusted friend. May you find such a friend in your life, may we be
loving trustworthy friends to those in the community in need and
may we all draw ever closer to the best friend anyone can have -
Jesus. In the words of a song by Michael W Smith.
