The Murrrell Farm is located close to Stanley, the Islands’ capital, and is
a short journey by road. It is a working farm with sheep and cattle. It is
run in a traditional way with butter made from farm produce and peat
cut by hand to heat to the farmhouse. The Murrell is home to a range of
wildlife including Gentoo, Magellanic and Rockhopper penguins along
with many other birds.
Your stop here spans just over one hour, allowing ample time to fully
enjoy these utterly charming and playful penguins, in what will no doubt
be one of the highlights of your trip. Coffee, tea and a light snack will be
available before it's time to return to the pier in Stanley.
