CLUB BRAMAN LATIN NIGHTS
Hot Food, Cold Drinks and Sizzling Dance
Summer nights were perfect for the
hot Latin Nights events hosted by Club Braman in July and August. And, due to its popularity, Latin Nights is now an ongo- ing signature event for the Club.
The evening begins with dance instruc- tors from the Fred Astaire Studios provid- ing lessons of salsa and other Latin danc- es. There’s plenty of Cuban cuisine from
Don Ramon’s restaurant, and a plethora of mixed drinks like; mojitos, sangria, and strawberry margaritas. The dance oor was heated throughout the night with Miami’s DJ Aztk, playing classic Latino hits and newer hits from today’s popular artists of Latin descent in July.
In August, it was lessons on LA style Salsa and other moves from the dance instruc-
tors Manny and Ana, from Palm Beach Dance Fest. Members got to dance the rest of the night away with help of well- known Miami DJ. Don Ramon’s was back again with food like “realeza” and tradi- tional Cuban dishes plus popular drinks including the most favorite Strawberry margaritas. Needless to say, not one per- son left hungry or thirsty
SIGNATURE EVENT CLUB BRAMAN COMEDY NIGHTS
Comedy Night at the Club Braman per- formance theatre is always full of laughs. Every comedy night, usually held every other month, is di erent than the last, and you never know who in the audience might get called out next and inserted into a funny routine.
Comedy Nights are made possible due to local comedian Dougie Almeida. Dougie organizes and books national visiting comedians, many with great fame, to local comedy clubs in South Florida including Club Braman.
Of course, standard Braman fare of food,
wines and beers are always on hand.
The last Comedy Club event featured of
course Dougie Almeida who brought
along his comedian friends Jimmy Shu-
bert and Gene Harding. Harding, who is
originally from New York, spoke on the cultural di erences when he moved to Florida. While Jimmy who starred in NBC’s Last Comic Standing, gave our members much more than a chuckle as he talked about life and his therapy cat. Catch a Club Braman Comedy Night soon.
