Never one to back down from a challenge, Megan thrives from being put to task on an everyday basis. She views it as a learning experience and appreciates the support she receives in helping her perform her job to the best of her ability. Megan is pleased to concur with what we already know to be true: that everyone at Braman is treated equally and with respect. She also calls attention to the fact that women have something unique to o er, simply by being of the gender, and is pleased that it is welcomed. “I think having women
as leaders in the workplace can bring a di erent point of view and even allow the men to see things from a fresh, di erent perspective,” says Megan.

Years at Braman: 3
Tina oversees all accounting functions for Braman’s BMW (West Palm and Jupiter), MINI,
Porsche, Rolls, and Bentley dealerships. Regardless of the automotive industry still being predominantly run by men, Tina attests that she’s seen great diversity when it comes to women in managerial roles at Braman. “I have to say that hands down, this is the best sta I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with,” says Tina. She feels that women at Braman are treated with respect and are recognized for their hard work and dedication, and hopes this will set an example for all women striving to become managers in their respec- tive elds. “I believe we have a strong force of women here at Braman and we have de nitely proven we are more than capable of holding management roles,” says Tina.
Name: Kristine Dinges
Title: Human Resources Manager
Years at Braman: just under 2
Some of Kristine’s responsibilities include supporting 390+ employees for 5 franchises, recruiting, conduct- ing new employee orientations, ensuring compliance with all employment laws, coaching and counseling. She is thrilled to acknowledge that all employees at Braman Motorcars, regardless of whether they’re male or female, are treated with respect and equality. “Braman has a great group of women employees in all departments that I feel are all recognized and rewarded for their commitment, dedication, hard work and loyalty to the company,” says Kristine. Having seen many who initially started in entry-level positions rise to the management level, she can verify that Braman o ers plenty of room for women’s growth.
Name: Annabelle Marhauer
Title: Finance Manager
Years at Braman: 2 1⁄2
The consummate multitasker, Annabelle not only does her own job, but also covers as sales manager for MINI an estimated 25% of the time. No, she doesn’t switch hats—she simply manages to do both simultane- ously. Annabelle greatly admires and enjoys working with her direct boss and the team he has assembled. But most of all, she loves her customers. “I love helping them get into the MINI, whether it’s a valued client’s grandchild, or a 60-year-old nurse nally getting the car she’s always dreamed of. Annabelle transitioned from a banking background, so entering into the car business has been an education for her that has only changed her for the better. Annabelle greatly appreciates how much Braman values the opinions of female employees, including her own. “They’ve never made me feel afraid to speak my mind, and that fosters self-con dence,” she says. Annabelle shares the view that women are an asset to the company, bringing a high amount of energy and a strong desire for customer satisfaction.

Title: Director of Sales, Jupiter location
Years at Braman: close to 2
When it comes to “the art of the deal,” perhaps no one enjoys it more than Lisa. She loves her customers and takes pleasure in helping make their car dreams a reality. She wisely points out that in today’s world where women have come so far, customers both male and female enjoy the idea of buying a car from a place that is overseen by a female. “They nd it a much better atmosphere, and it sends a great message,” she says. Lisa describes the climate at the Jupiter dealership as “fun,” and is happy to report that all the employees appreciate having a female look out for them. She is optimistic about seeing the trend continue. “If Braman continues to promote women to top positions, they will be making an even bigger positive statement in this industry,” says Lisa.
