We are still in the process of of planning this years
menus but here’s an idea of what was served in 2018
Christmas Day Dinner
Vulscombe goats cheese, orange, beetroot, walnuts, rocket
Pan seared Mylor scallops, smoked celeriac puree, cabbage, pancetta, hazelnut pesto
St Ives Bay crab, avocado, apple, tomato, watercress
Pressed West Country ham hock terrine, tarragon mayonnaise, pickles,
honey and mustard dressing
Carrot and coriander soup
Spiced plum sorbet
Roast free-range locally reared Banbury turkey, chestnut stuffing, pigs in blankets,
cranberry sauce, gravy made from its own juices
Glazed West Country gammon, orange chutney, Cumberland sauce
Grilled supreme of Cornish plaice, rainbow chard, Parmentier potatoes,
lemon and parsley butter
Pan-roasted supreme of Scottish salmon, buttered new potatoes, leeks, hollandaise sauce
All served with a selection of seasonal vegetables
Christmas pudding, brandy sauce and Cornish clotted cream
Baileys white chocolate cheesecake, Cornish vanilla ice cream
Hazelnut meringue, coffee mascarpone, chocolate and Tia Maria sauce, vanilla Chantilly
Mincemeat frangipane tart, creme Anglaise
A selection of Hawkridge Farm cheeses served with quince jelly, biscuits and celery
Fresh cafetiére of coffee served with Cornish fudge and mints
