And our inventiveness has found its way around the world . . . into food, fashion, language, literature, sports, the arts, science, invention, and inno- vation.
It has found its way into Americana . . . and into the flavor and spirit of the freedom movements. Into its symbols, music, rhetoric, and messaging. And into the strategy of the slave rebel- lions, the Underground Railroad, and the independence movements.
