If we were lined up on a starting grid waiting for the lights to go out for the start of the motoring year, The Geneva International Motor Show would be the fnal light before we released the clutch and accelerated full speed into the season. Now in its 87th year, it has always been the frst of the season and maybe that’s why it has so much signifcance within the industry. The great and the good of the worlds’ motoring industry turn up to meet, trade and display their new models. Launching at Geneva is a big event, you know you have the eyes of the world on you and this year was no exception. For us at Paddock Life we are focused on the very top end, the vast stands of the mass market producers are always worth a look, but it’s the high performance and luxury manufactures that get our attention. This year, we were invited by Zenvo, who were celebrating their 10th Anniversary with the brilliant TS1 GT by unveiling a one-off Z10 version on the opening day in stunning blue livery with carbon and copper trims. Earlier that day Lamborghini launched the Huracán Performante to a huge crowd of expectant media, the car that has already set a record time at the Nurburgring. Ferrari drew the covers of their latest V12 offering, the 812 Superfast, always a great name from the Italians and McLaren revealed their prettiest car to date in the 720s.124
