A.W.E is a 4-day exhibition featuring Art- works by 11 emerging female artists and will be hosted at The Bloomsbury Hotel from the 2nd to 5th February 2018.
Curated by Daniele Mah – AWE has been assembled by Daniele and Marchella De An- gelis, two siblings who have always held a
passion and admiration for the ingenuity of all that is creative.
Making Art accessible - it will open to the public for free and is an opportunity to purchase and view Art alongside a portrait photo taken by Daniele of the featured artists themselves and so offer the viewer a glimpse of the individual behind the works too.
“We hope AWE will translate into a committed voice of advocacy for equality within the Arts world that is not based on gender, connections or what the establishment may choose to applaud but sim- ply on the merit of its quality and affordability.
The Art world and its establishment is often one big hurdle and this exhibition simply offers another plat- form to artists who may otherwise struggle to ever be seen “
The idea was to create a symbiotic platform not just to rally encouragement and reinforcement for strug- gling artists but also to celebrate the other aspects of Art as a healing and self-expressive medium. Hence in tandem with this initiative, AWE has also partnered with Centrepoint – the leading charity for homeless and vulnerable 16-25 year olds.
