engine up to speed to test basics like reliability etc. So until we get to Australia the main protagonists are the Silver Arrows, Followed by Ferrari with Aston Martin Red Bull the challengers. Vettel was fast and Ricciardo setting the pace for Red Bull, running a Renault engine should be able to keep them competitive in the top three. Ferrari by the end of the week still looked strong despite a lot of focus on their high rake set up to get their aerodynamics right, which resulted in some slower lap times as the rear seemed to break away on cornering. Renault seem to be quite strong in the “ best of the rest eld “ with McLaren close behind, and Alonso did manage to put timed laps in on our “snow day.” McLaren have a chance to be more competitive and hopefully will gain pace as the season progresses. Haas also seem to be running quite a strong car this season but may have a few overall down force issues when pushed to the limit. Torro Rosso being in effect a “Honda” works team that seem to be working closely together and developing a tight team and engine supplier package. Williams seem to be taking strong steps forwards in the Ferrari and Mercedes level of sophistication; hopefully they can hook it all up at the same time and climb up the eld. Force India seem very determined to defend its place in the pack and with some con dence hope to advance up the ranks if they can get all
