a 1953 250MM, a newly restored 330 GT 2+2, which was simply stunning, but our favourite was Sally Mason-Styrron’s ex Le Mans race prepared 365GTB/4C (which also sounded the best) and won the “Spirit” and “Best Competition Car” awards. Such was the quality of classics they made the beautiful La Ferrari Aperta look almost normal.
3000 people attended Saturday’s Masters Concours and 7000 VIP guests passed though
the doors over the three day event, every glass of Champaign was perfectly chilled, every Lobster perfectly cooked, the guests from bankers to bikers all looked stylish, so eleven years on from it’s first event David and Andrew Bagley still have a eye on every detail and have managed to stay firmly within their original ideas and ethos. A fantastic gathering of cars and people spread over a sunny three days. Get the date in your diary for summer next year and we look forward to seeing you there.
