The last car on this list has been recently acquired by a Chinese man called Eric Shen, he purchased this car for a reputed $32 million which has been subject to a $240m law suit for alleged embezzlement. It was once owned by Chris Evans a radio and TV star in the UK. The car is believed to be in safe storage in England. This incidentally is the same Eric Shen who crashed his 1998 McLaren F1 road car in 2014. The English actor/comedian Mr Rowan Atkinson, aka Mr Bean, also a classics car enthusiast and an amateur racing driver was fortuitously following on the same road and rescued Eric from the crashed car. In conclusion, I believe there is only an upward trend with these cars and I’m sure that we will still see records tumbling over the next decade. It really is, in the words of a well-known Pink Floyd song, “US and THEM”.64
