Strays, there’s nothing I enjoy more than getting together with good players that I maybe never met

or played with before because there’s a chemistry, there’s a magic and I love to try to make that
happen and kind of sculpt it. I’m not the band leader that stands in the corner with the stink eye,
making sure the bass player plays all the right notes. It’s just not me. I’d rather just grin and just
say yes, make a statement. Say something to me and let’s have a conversation. That’s the blues.
