In 2016, institutional donors provided more than $23 million to help us tackle avoidable blindness.
This support enabled us to provide high-quality eye health services to millions of people around the world.

AUSTRALIAN GOVERNMENT
In 2016, The Foundation received valuable support from the Australian Government’s Department of
Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) through the Australian NGO Cooperation Program (ANCP), the East
Asia Avoidable Blindness Initiative (ABI) and the Pakistan-Australia Prevention of Avoidable Blindness
(PAPAB) Project. We also received funding through the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet and the
Commonwealth Department of Health for our work in Australia.
