                       b). Burglary: Compensation for victim – item/s must be returned to the owner
                       or if items are not returnable, pay the cost of the item (if it applies) & 6 months
                       to 1 year confinement, a fine of $1000.00; follow–up review with the 24

                       Elders.


                    Second Offense:


                       a). Trespass: Compensation for victim – item/s must be returned to the owner
                       or if items are not returnable, pay the cost of the item/s (if it applies) & 9–18
                       months confinement, a fine of $2000.00; follow–up review with the 24 Elders.



                       b). Burglary: Compensation for victim – item/s must be returned to the owner
                       or if items are not returnable, pay the cost of the item/s (if it applies) & 9–18
                       months confinement, a fine of $2000.00; follow–up review with the 24 Elders.



                    Third Offense:  Disfellowship/Expulsion from the Tribe.


                38. Theft: (larceny); broadly: a criminal taking of the property or services of another
                    without consent *NOTE: Theft commonly encompasses by statute a variety of
                    forms of stealing formerly treated as distinct crimes. (reference from - Merriam-

                           a). Grand Theft: theft of property or services whose value exceeds a
                           specified amount or of a specified kind of property (as an automobile)
                           *NOTE: Grand theft is a felony.


                           b). Identity Theft: the unauthorized use of another's means of identification
                           (as name or social security number) for the purpose of committing theft or
                           another crime.


                           c). Petty Theft: theft of property or services whose value is below a
                           specified amount called also “petit theft” *NOTE: Petty theft is a
                           misdemeanor but may be aggravated by prior convictions.
