Second Offense: 1 year to 18 months confinement, a fine of $500.00, & follow–
up review with the 24 Elders; also, if any damages to the victim and/or property

the individual who caused the damage must compensate the victim. (refer to

Third Offense: Disfellowship/Expulsion from the Tribe. (refer to Abuse &
Violence 999.1.1-6)

999.6.7 – SPOUSAL RAPE

43. Spousal Rape: (also known as Marital Rape and Rape in Marriage) is non-
consensual sex (ie., rape) in which the perpetrator is the victim's spouse. It is a
form of partner rape, of domestic violence and of sexual abuse. (reference from –
Webster's Dictionary)
