171 Tamale Ridge by: Chuck Cusimano
You’d be happy if you would live on Tamale Ridge.
Third Verse:
You should have seen her face when she first saw the place,
that early afternoon.
The colts were everyplace, by Mama, just in case,
And pretty soon
Like an excited child, I watched her smile
And it was plain to see.
She wouldn’t be missin’ old Mexico
with her new family.
Second Chorus:
Now the Sangre De Cristo Range
Has a name that may sound strange.
And the Pine trees touch the sky, where we now live.
And the colts and the children play
in the New Mexico Sun all day.
We’re so happy that we live on Tamale Ridge.
(Tag) Yes, she’s happy that she lives on Tamale Ridge.
