I believe that the best explanation (in my
opinion) of true success came from Zig Ziglar.
I memorized it for the purpose of closing out
my training sessions. He told a story of visiting
his mother in the nursing home, and how his
wife (as he referred to as ‘Sugar Baby’) would
just hug the patients and say, “I love you!” and
then tell them that if they needed anything to
not hesitate to ask. Zig, of course, had the
intention of walking in and sharing inspiring
words of encouragement and wisdom. When he
observed ‘Sugar Baby’s’ actions, he went
outside and broke down into tears. He knew at
that moment that they needed her, and his
actions would pale compared the actions of his
wife. He then sat down and pinned the words
of what true success means. If the following
