answering comprehension questions:

1. Read through the passage for the first

paragraphs, sentences and phrases
that will help to answer the questions
to the passage (scanning).
4. Now you can start answering the
questions by :
● reading the question;
● trying to figure out its meaning and
what the question requires you to do;
● taking note of the marks for each
question to help in structuring your
answer; and
● referring carefully to the text to get the
right answer.
