Section 9. National Basketball Poll
A. In order for teams to be considered for weekly national rankings, all scores from the previous week must be entered
into the NJCAA PrestoSports Stats System by 11:59 PM ET on Sunday of each week.
a. All statistics from the previous week must be entered into the NJCAA PrestoSports Stats System by 2:00 PM
ET on Monday of each week.
B. The preseason rankings will be conducted at the discretion of the NJCAA Division III Women’s Basketball Committee. Poll will
be released the last week of October. The first regular season poll will be voted on during the second week of November. The
last poll will be voted on during the final week of February.
C. The NJCAA Division III Women's Basketball Poll will be released Monday of each week unless the Monday is a national
holiday where the poll will be released on Tuesday.
D. Each team’s performance from the previous week will be compiled in a report through the NJCAA PrestoSports Stats System
and disseminated to the NJCAA Division III Women's Basketball Committee to be voted on individually by each voter.
a. The voters will consist of the seven members of the Division III Women's Basketball Committee.
b. A first-place vote receives 10 points and 10th-place vote receives 1 point

b. Strength of schedule
c. Game Scores
d. National Tournament finish
e. Record vs. DI, DII, DIII opponents
F. The poll voters will submit their top-10 rankings to the NJCAA National Office online system by 1:00 PM ET on Mondays,
unless the Monday prior is a national holiday where votes will be due on Tuesday. The National Office will compile the votes for
each team and release the final rankings Monday afternoon.
G. Poll Dates: Oct. 21^, Nov. 11, 18, 25, Dec. 2, 9, 16, Jan. 6, 13, 20*, 27, Feb. 3, 10, 17, 24
^Preseason poll
*Poll is released Wednesday due to a federal holiday.
Section 10. All-American Nomination Guidelines

Section 11. Substance Abuse
The use of all tobacco products by any coach, player, official, or other individual involved in the conducting of any NJCAA sponsored
regular season or postseason play is prohibited within the confines of the playing area. Any individual not in compliance shall be
disqualified from further participation in that contest.
Section 12 Open Wound Policy
Current NCAA basketball rules and procedures with regard to open wounds and bleeding shall be adhered to.
Section 13. Tournament Lodging
Should the Tournament Host/NJCAA National Office choose to assign lodging for this event, all participating colleges must honor that
assignment or pay for those rooms.
Section 14. Decorum Policy
Game attire for all bench personnel, other than uniformed players, must wear business casual attire. This does not include: jeans,
shorts, sweats, t-shirts, or hats. All players must be in uniform and/or team warm-ups. Semi-formal dress is requested for the banquet
unless otherwise indicated by the host. Violators of dress decorum will be asked by either the Tournament Director or NJCAA
Representative to alter dress to comply with the stated dress decorum. If they don't comply, the incident will be referred to the Standards
and Ethics Committee for possible sanctions.
Section 15. Code of Conduct
All coaches, athletes and support personnel are expected to be familiar with and follow the NJCAA Code of Conduct. This code may be
found under Article XVI of the NJCAA bylaws.
