OUR IDENTITY
We are the governing body for all two-year athletics. Since our
establishment in 1938, we have taken pride in providing student-
athletes with opportunities to PREPARE, COMPETE, SUCCEED and
ACHIEVE in their academic and athletic disciplines.
We are the second-largest national intercollegiate athletic
organization in the United States with over 500 member schools in
43 states. Each year over 3,400 teams compete in 25 different sports
across multiple divisions in the NJCAA and we sponsor 47 national
championship events and nine football bowl games.
OUR MISSION
It is the mission of the NJCAA to foster a national program of athletic
participation in an environment that supports equitable opportunities
consistent with the educational objectives of member colleges.
