His majestic eternal Word, as sacred as if a prayer of His soul, is born out of His Eternal Spirit, the very Spirit that “moves upon the face of the waters” (Genesis 1:2), for just as His Spirit moves, His Word moves, serenading the waters with His Living Word, and serenading us with the Living Waters of His Living Soul. The eternal, natural Soul serenades us with Soul-Being from the morning of first being. The eternal matinal songs of seas, of rivers, of creeks, of fountains indwell in His Word: these are the rivers of music within the mysteries of our multiform souls. He is flowing music, and so is His flowing Word, whose spirit nourishes all of time and all of space, all of creation and all of salvation with His ever-lyrical, ever-omnific Word dancing over the waters, so that its omnipresent and omniscient song may be heard en las aguas del alma of Being, in the times of tempest, and of lovely calm.
It is His natural Spirit, free, filled with cosmic élan, ever dancing over the primeval waters that fills things, in the beginning of beginnings, with His metaphysical presence, long before His salvation presence is manifested “face to face” to Moses in Mount
