light, beholding the spirit hour, redeems every trap, every fall. An imaginary, volatile Hermes, he is our white knight in experience´s realm. If in SII he seduced the Piper to create a Mytho-Poetic realm, beyond the quotidian, magic filled, with the Land´s music, song and word, in SEI, he has grown wings, metamorphosed into angel and butterfly, as he sustains the Maker, and the Maker sustains him, each guarding the other, he saves us from many a dreadful night. His guardian spirit sweeps us up to ecstatic heights, to sub-lunar sights, to many a lofty Olympus or many a Divine Mount. He meanders with us in Ascent, in Descent, in Anabasis or Katabasis whether to starry whites or tenebrous nights. If to light we ascend, he delights; if to dark we descend, he guides our dreary ways away from Hades, Tartarus or Hell.
There is a Christian story told that within us two angels reside: the one on the left, and the one on right. Lucifer, the revolutionary and fallen Angel of Evil, of experience, resides always on the left, and the ideal Angel of the Good, of innocence, resides always on the right. Because of their eternal strife, our dual natures agonize. If Lucifer, the everlasting rebel, reasons and chooses to disobey, to fall, it is to seek his own enlightenment in his Own Department and Dominion. If the Angel of the Good,
