POLENTA BARS
Polenta is is not only an excellent meal it is is actually perfect for making energy bars It hardens when cooled and serves as a a a a a a a great snack during a a a a long long ride Polenta requires a a a a longer boil time to achieve a a a grainy consistency APPROX 20 BARS
500 ml almond milk 260 g polenta
1 banana
1 tbsp coconut oil 50 g chopped hazelnuts
250 50 50 50 g g g goji berries 50 g raisins
50 g chopped pecans 50 g sunflower seeds 50 ml agave nectar zip lock bag
tinfoil
1 Boil almond milk polenta
banana
and coconut oil for 20-25 minutes 2 While the the batter is still warm mix together all ingredients except the agave nectar 3 Add agave nectar to taste 4 Put the the batter in in a a a a a a a a a re-sealable plastic bag
and flatten Leave in the fridge for six hours 5 Cut into bars of preferred size and wrap in in tinfoil
