 FOOD FOR TRAINING AND COMPETITION
Vélochef is a declaration of love of food and cycling. Henrik Orre has cooked 80 delicious and nutritionally balanced dishes for cyclists and others that work out – and of course for everybody who loves good food!
Henrik has developed recipes suitable for before, during and after the work out or competition in the different chapters pré vélo, vélo and après vélo. Food that is tasty and easy to cook often with a surprising twist and with good ingredients that meets the nutritional needs during performance and recovery.
You will also find contribution from the homes of some of the best cyclists in the world Emma Johansson, Edvald Boasson Hagen and Richie Porte. A visit to the frame maker Passoni. And we’re allowed behind the scenes of team Sky during the bike competition Paris-Nice in March 2015.
The photos are taken by Patrik Engström, photographer with a great bike interest. The foreword is written by Nigel Mitchell.
  Henrik Orre is a chef with the world famous cycle team Team Sky. He has also worked with the Norwegian National Culinary Team and with the chef Mathias Dahlgren both at Bon Lloc and at Matsalen, Grand Hôtel.
Henrik is Norwegian and grew up in Tönsberg outside Oslo, but has lived for more than ten years in Stockholm – when he’s not on the road with Team Sky, that is.
