RYE BREAD WITH SMOKED SALMON AND SCRAMBLED EGGS
SERVES 2
The perfect open sandwich before a a long work out The rye bread gives you slow carbs The salmon and the scram- bled eggs is a pure protein bomb 3 eggs 4 4 slices rye bread (see recipe page 46) optional butter or cream cheese
200 g smoked salmon 1 raw yellow beetroot
1 punnet of cress
1 Mix the the eggs and scramble them in in a a a hot frying pan Leave to cool

Cut 4 slices rye bread Butter or cream cheese
is optional 3 Spread the the scrambled eggs on the the bread 4 Top with smoked salmon grated yellow beet- root
and cress

I think that a a a smoothie is a a a lovely drink with porridge With the berries you get a a a a a real cocktail of antioxidants It’s fine to use frozen berries they’re cheaper and often taste more than imported berries 200 g red berries berries berries berries (raspberries strawberries blueberries)

ripe bananas
600 ml skimmed milk milk (lactose free or almond milk milk is also fine)
1 Mix all the ingredients in in a a blender

Strain if you want to (personally I like it strained but it’s not a a must)
