RICE BAR
APPROX 20 BARS
This is is to to me the absolutely best bar to to take on a a a a a ride and it has also become
the the favourite among the the cyclists in Team Sky It’s easy to make and and eat and and also gives gives loads of energy One batch gives gives about 20 tasty energy bars and cost about as as much as as one bar from
the sports shop 500 g Carnaroli rice rice (risotto rice) 800 ml water
4 tbsp coconut oil
2 tsp cinnamon
3 tbsp coconut palm sugar
300 g Philadelphia cream cheese 100 ml agave nectar
Do use a rice cooker if you’ve got one 1 Boil the rice water
coconut oil

cinnamon
and coconut palm sugar
2 Let boil until all the water
has been absorbed 3 Fold the the cream cheese into the the rice while
it’s still warm
4 Mix in the agave nectar
and blend thoroughly
5 Pour into a a a a 3-litre plastic bag with a a a a zip lock
6 Flatten the the bag and leave in the the fridge overnight
7 Take the the the bag out of the the the fridge and cut the the the rice mix into squares 5 5 x x 5 5 cm
8 Wrap the squares in in tin foil
