   93. DAREN BREAD DISH. 7.5ins base diam. High quality glass lid covered dish. The heavy base deeply etched to underside & infilled with a naturalistically coloured Daren loaf on a wooden board, lettering all round. The top with large knob is acid etched both sides with highly detailed scene of cow, milkmaid with wooden pail and jug, farmhouse in the background. Superb. Exc/ A1, no damages. Never seen anything of this high quality similar before. 9.5/10. NR £200-300+
  94. RUSTIC DAIRY COMPANY BUTTER (?) CROCK. 5.1ins diam. Over white/ scruffy/ as dug small crock like container with pict. front black transfer of seated milkmaid a milking. Bite out of rear top area and long base sliver/ chip. Definitely warrants some t.l.c./ careful cleaning. Never seen another example - well worth restoring. 6/10 NR £200-300+

95. BRITISH HOMES CERAMIC SAVINGS CLOCK. 6.5ins tall. Very period (1930’s?) hand painted, with floral decorations, pottery savings clock. Red print reads One Halfpenny per Hour or Sixpence per Day/ Will secure a House Value £300/ Assurance Corp Ltd/ Every Month you delay/ Means a Month rent more to pay. Brass fronted clock to centre. Anyone ever seen another? 9.5/10. NR £80-120+
at Saverley Green, when I was 10, was one such - it might have been Radio Rentals. This clock of course was intended to help save up for a £300 house purchase which dates it to around the early 1930’s when property was at that level.”
