Rishton is 3 miles North East of Blackburn, Lancashire, but it is suggested these novelty pieces (wedding or other such special ocassion) were
manufactured over the border in West Yorkshire? Very crude, no damages. (2). 9.5/10. £150- 200+
  190. NANTWICH FLAGON. 15.7ins tall. A particularly early t.t. salt
glaze two gallon capacity flagon, square lip, small rear handle. Heavily impressed in very large letters
 WM ELLISON/ Nantwich - deeply and crudely. Anything Nantwich (apart from a couple
of ginger beers) is extremely
 rare.Tiny underside edge flake but in truth an exceptional Cheshire item c. 1840-50 period?. 9/10. NR £80-120+
