The National Golf Course Owners Association Canada’s monthly Research Reports, presented by Club Car, provide crucial data at the course level, as well as to the industry at large.
This highly impactful data on rounds played, weather and revenues come directly from hundreds of golf courses across the country and allows course operators to benchmark their data against their competitive set to help make sound business decisions. These reports also generate critical data to the entire industry, providing year-over-year, year-to-date and 5-year comparisons on national, provincial, and regional levels.

• Approximately 6 million Canadians played golf in 2023, an all-time high for the number one participation sport in the country, generating 74 million rounds played.
• Golf contributes a massive amount to Canada’s GDP at $23.2 billion, an increase of $4 billion since the previous study in 2019.
